BOOKING TIME:

  • All large groups are allotted 2 hours for their booking, unless otherwise negotiated.

  • If the party arrives late, Banyan’s will attempt to accommodate but is unable to guarantee extending the 2-hour booking period. Banyan’s reserves the right to apply an overtime fee (particularly if another group is impacted).

DEPOSIT SCHEDULE:

  • To secure your event date, Banyan’s requires 50% deposit of the estimated food invoice and/or minimum spend (for buyouts). Deposits can be paid by check (up to 15 days prior to event), cash or credit card.

  • Second deposit (remainder of food invoice or half of buyout) is required 1-week prior to event day. A credit card needs to remain on file for as a guarantee for final payment (an alternative credit card may also be presented for final payment, onsite).

PAYMENT:

  • Final payment for any outstanding balance (beverage) is due at the close of the event. Only cash or credit cards will be accepted; we do not process checks for final payment. 3% is applied for all credit card payments.

  • Second deposit (remainder of food invoice or half of buyout) is required 1-week prior to event day. A credit card needs to remain on file for as a guarantee for final payment (an alternative credit card may also be presented for final payment, onsite).

  • All hosted food and beverage must be placed on one master bill.

  • State taxes (4.712%) will be added to the master bill at the close of the event, in addition to a 3% set-up fee for administration, set-up/teardown and related specialty cleaning.

GRATUITY:

  • An automatic gratuity of 20% will be applied to all groups of 8 or more.

CANCELLATION:

  • All deposit payments are fully non-refundable within 30-days of your event date.

FOOD:

  • To ensure proper staffing, food ordering and preparation, all food selections and final guarantees must be finalized 1-week prior to the event.

  • Outside food and beverage is not permitted, except for small items (ie. birthday cake) to be approved by Banyan’s a minimum of 1-week prior to the event. A plating fee of $1 per person if the venue is cutting, plating and servicing a third-party cake.

BEVERAGE:

  • Outside beverages are permitted only upon approval by Banyan’s. If approved, beverage will be ordered by Banyan’s through their vendors, and the full volume will be billed to the client at retail price.

  • For hosted/partially hosted events, it is the responsibility of the client to identify what beverages will be covered by the group invoice and/or drink tickets.

ALLERGIES & DIETARY RESTRICTIONS:

  • Please advise your Banyan’s group contact of any expected allergies or dietary restrictions in advance of your event day, so plans can be made to support your guests. These should be expressly noted on the Private Event Order.

FINAL GUARANTEE:

  • A final headcount is due 1-week prior to the event. If a final guest count has not been provided by the headline, the tentative count will be assumed your group’s final guarantee.

EVENT SET-UP:

  • All events will be set a minimum of 15-minutes prior to the scheduled event start time, according to the Private Event Order. Additional labor charges may apply to any last-minute set-up changes, depending on scope of reset.

DÉCOR & SIGNAGE:

  • All signage and décor need to be reviewed by the venue for approval.

  • Items may not be attached to any wall surface, floor, window, ceiling or door with nails, staples, tape of any other adhesive. The Banyan’s trees may not be utilized for any hanging purposes.

  • Confetti and glitter are not permitted.

GROUP CONTACT:

  • Please identify one primary point of contact as decision maker during your event.

USE OF AUDIO VISUAL:

  • Use of in-house audio-visual is only available for buyout events.

  • Additional AV can be rented for your event including microphone and speaker, monitor/screen, karaoke.

USE OF AUDIO VISUAL:

  • Private event capacities are as follows:

  • Private room: capacity of 80 max seated, 120 standing

  • Full Banyan’s (Private room/Bar): capacity of 125 max seated, 180 standing

  • Banyan’s will strictly prohibit guest entry after capacity is achieved.
